Skills Assessment and Training

A wheelchair, whether manually operated or power-driven, is primarily designed for mobility both indoors and outdoors. The training begins with an initial assessment of the individual’s capabilities during device selection. Once a manual wheelchair is prescribed, we specify the frame type and begin comprehensive training, which includes multiple levels of skill development.
